In the wake of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Carnival Cruise Line now has its entire fleet back into service. The company has also planned a mixed batch of itineraries for passengers to enjoy in 2022, sailing from a variety of homeports with excellent stops along the way.
5 new itineraries for Carnival Cruise Line
Date: April 20, 2022
Ship: Carnival Freedom
Homeport: Miami to Seattle, USA
Length of sail: 16 nights
This Carnival Cruise Line itinerary stops in a variety of exotic ports, including Santa Marta (Colombia), Cartagena (Colombia), Panama Canal transit, Puntarenas (Costa Rica) and Cabo San Lucas (Mexico).
This Panama Canal cruise takes 16 nights and is one of the cruise line’s longer itineraries for 2022. The cruise connects Miami to Seattle and visits four ports on America’s East and West coasts. The Carnival Freedom leaves Florida on April 20, heading south for Panama. However, before using the canal’s new locks, the ship visits two ports in Colombia, including an unusual cruise destination – Santa Marta. After visiting two more ports in the Pacific, the cruise ship docks in Seattle on May 3.

Ship: Carnival Pride
Homeport: Barcelona (Spain) to Dover (UK)
Length of sail: 12 nights
The Carnival Pride visits a wealth of fascinating stops on this exciting itinerary, including Gibraltar (UK), Lisbon (Portugal), Porto (Portugal), Vigo (Spain) La Coruña (Spain), Bilbao (Spain), La Rochelle (France), Le Havre (France) and Zeebrugge (Belgium).
While the Carnival Cruise Line is known for its close-to-home cruises, it has also dabbled in sailing to Europe over the last few years. 2022 will see the Carnival Pride offering a unique European itinerary that connects the Mediterranean and Northern Europe.
Guests board the cruise ship in Barcelona, Spain and head to five different EU countries prior to arrival in Dover. One of the highlights of this cruise is a 14-hour stopover in Le Havre, France.

Ship: Carnival Miracle
Homeport: San Francisco, USA
Length of sail: 10 nights
The Alaskan Carnival Miracle cruise stops off in a variety of ports, including Victoria (Canada), Sitka (United States), Juneau (United States), Tracy Arm Fjord (United States) and Ketchikan (United States).
Sailing from San Francisco, California, the longer itinerary gives the chance to visit four ports, with three in Alaska and one in Canada. Passengers can enjoy a 12-hour stay in Juneau, exploring the city and its surrounding areas. Before heading back to California, the cruise ship also heads through the Tracy Arm Fjord, offering unique scenic views of the region.

Ship: Carnival Sensation
Homeport: Mobile, USA
Length of sail: 10 nights
Sailing from Mobile, Alabama, the Carnival Sensation heads to Key West (Florida), Grand Turk (Turks and Caicos), Amber Cove (Dominican Republic), George Town (Grand Cayman) and Cozumel (Mexico). It should be noted that Carnival Cruise Line is the only cruise line sailing from Mobile.
The 10-night cruise takes in the Eastern and Western Caribbean and Mexico.

Homeport: Sydney, Australia
Length: 3 nights
Carnival Cruise Line has two vessels based permanently in Australia and offers a selection of itineraries in the country from ports like Sydney and Brisbane. While normally cruises are longer for geographic reasons, the company also offers shorter cruises with all sea days in the area.
This is the case with the Carnival Splendor cruise from Sydney, which is purely an ocean getaway with no ports of call.
